Lineage 2: Revolution announces year-end in-game events for the holiday season

Seoul, Korea – 21st December, 2017 - Netmarble Games Corp., the fastest-growing mobile game company in Asia, has announced two year-end in-game events for its recently launched MMORPG Lineage 2 Revolution. Both events, Treasure Box Event and New Year Letter Collection Event, will run from 08:00 GMT on 20th December, 2017 to 07:59 GMT on 4th January, 2018.

 Treasure Box Event - In this event, treasure boxes will be placed throughout the fields of Lineage 2: Revolution. As players adventure out and find treasure boxes, they can claim various kinds of items depending on the type and the location of the treasure boxes. There are three types of treasure boxes: Regular Treasure Box (produced in all fields), Silver Treasure Box (produced in all fields and in the extraction pit), and Gold Treasure Box (produced in all fields and in the extraction pit). Rewards for finding the treasure boxes include: Adena, Soul Shots, letters for the ‘Letter Collection Event’ described below, Christmas tree badge, Rudolf badge, Santa Claus badge, and more.

New Year Letter Collection Event - By completing various in-game contents, players can collect alphabet letters which could then be made into letter combinations that make certain words. Six letter combinations include HAPPY, NEW, YEAR, RUDOLPH, HOLIDAY and SANTACLAUS. For example, if players collect 5 letters, ‘H’, ‘A’, ‘P’, ‘P’, ‘Y’ that forms the word “HAPPY,” players can exchange them for rewards. Letter combinations and its corresponding rewards are outlined below:

Ÿ   HAPPY – 10,000 Adena
Ÿ   NEW – 2 Recovery Consumable Box
Ÿ   YEAR – 300 Soul Shots
Ÿ   RUDOLPH – 1 Elixir Essence Bundle
Ÿ   HOLIDAY –Equipment & Mount Equipment Enhance Scroll Box (One item from Mount Pet Equipment Enhance Scroll, Weapon Enhance Scroll, Armor Enhance Scroll, or Accessory Enhance Scroll will be randomly rewarded).
Ÿ   SANTACLAUS – 1 Blessed Scroll Selection Box

Additionally, if all Christmas badges are acquired, players will receive ‘Holiday Gift Stocking’ as a reward, which contains all the rewards included in the New Year Letter Collection Event (equivalent to collecting ALL letter combinations).

Conan O’Brien And Netmarble Partner For Lineage 2: Revolution Digital Entertainment Content TS

November 9, 2017 (Seoul, South Korea): Netmarble, the fastest growing mobile game company in Asia, has partnered with late night host Conan O’Brien to create digital entertainment content for the company’s upcoming MMORPG, Lineage 2: Revolution. The popular celebrity joined Netmarble onstage at TwitchCon 2017 in October to announce the game’s November 15, 2017 launch date and to help debut the company’s ‘30 vs. 30 Fortress Siege’ battle featuring top streamers from across the world.
